I'll say this, accuracy on a Dell Desktop speakers with a mini-sub is a joke, accuracy is the last of my concerns when listening to music casually while I work. There are several other things you can do to get your mic going. I also tested the CE-V.R version (FabFilter.TotalBundle.2022.2.CE) and it too goes mute in EAPO after 30+ days. Like, it doesn't show the GUI changes when the audio is playing, for instance. Again, I must stress that this is for bad speakers and headphones, and for people that are looking for more BASS and cleaner treble. But Equalizer APO is not a typical VST host, it works differently. I specifically made this setting for dance music, but I've been listening to metal as well and it sounds really good. I spent ages looking around online for a solution beforehand and I should have just come straight here. Will probably fiddle with this more later. Seems to be what suits my headphones/ears. My settings in EQ APO are -6.5 on the preamp, with the low frequencies up to +6.5, then tapering down in the mids and slightly up again in the highs. I wasn't able to find the 'high-shelf filter' with the Peace interface (quick look), I didn't look into how to revert to the original interface as the issue seemed to be fixed.Īppreciate the advice on reducing eq on prominent frequencies rather than increasing desired ones. I'm also now using only Equalizer APO with Peace interface, instead of the Xonar equalizer, which is off. ![]() Note: Your virus scanner can detect a virus in PeaceSetup.exe or Peace.exe. Peace is your Windows PC equalizer, effects instrument, audio mixer, audio router, bass booster, etc. Dont install Equalizer APO version 0.9, but 0.9.1 or higher. I've checked the speaker properties, and I don't have any enhancements active. Peace Equalizer, an user interface for Equalizer APO, which must be installed first to be able to run Peace. I think it's fixed! Just did a bunch of testing, and it seems like the issue was fixed by decreasing the mixer sliders in Xonar Audio Centre to 75%. Thanks to everyone for your help and input.
